Our Story

In 2004, we were two 19-year-old kids who decided to join the staff at a summer camp in East Texas. The first time our eyes met, I smiled, and then he smiled. That was all it took. After 4.5 years of dating, we were happily married in March of 2009.

During our engagement, we kept a blog about how our wedding plans were coming along, so we thought we’d start Chapter 2 of the story by writing about our newlywed life. We invite you to join us as we began our journey as husband and wife!

We love God, our family and friends, Texas A&M University (Whoop!), Disney movies, cold weather, country dancing, motorcycles (Preston) and decorating (Brittany), so you’ll probably hear about all of these things at some point.
